Supervised by Nancy Derrick LPC-S
B.S. in Psychology from Abilene Christian University, Abilene TX
M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Texas State University, San Marcos TX
Brandon has known for some time that he was going to be a therapist. During his undergrad at ACU, he was already starting to learn the counseling business in a specialized professional career track. He then capitalized on this experience during graduate school at Texas State, where he worked in the mental health field during his education.
Brandon’s past career endeavors have shaped his practice today. He spent years working in youth ministry as well as residential mental health treatment for adolescents where his passion for serving youth was formed. He also has worked with many couples who are just starting out with premarital counseling as well as those who have been together some time and are struggling in their relationship. He loves to hear each individual’s unique story and help couples, adolescents, families, and individuals pursue new and daring goals for their lives and their wellness.
