Kristin is the mother of three teenage children, a freelance writer, and the author of 8 books including Happily Ever After, Strength for the Climb, Work in Progress: An Unfinished Woman’s Guide to Grace, Heart of My Heart, Ties that Bind, Saying Yes, and Mile Markers: The 26.2 Most Important Reasons why Women Run.
Kristin’s personal and professional experience make her a great fit for clients who want to work on life transitions and identity shifts, as well as those interested in taking an intentional approach to parenting, single parenting, co-parenting, and parent-child relationships. Kristin has experience counseling adolescents, as well as teaching and leading women’s groups at her church. She is passionate about creating and maintaining authentic, connected, healthy relationships. As an author, Kristin takes a creative, narrative approach to counseling with the philosophy that we are all crafting our own stories, and we have the power to change these stories. One of her favorite questions to ask herself and others is, “Who do you want to be on the other side of this?” Whatever this may be, it always helps to face it together.
Kristin has basic EMDR training and is in the process of becoming a certified clinician.
